Deliverance International Foundation Inc (DIF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to social services and community development. Our primary focus lies in supporting the working-class population, mitigating the risk of them falling into low-income status. Our overarching objective is to foster stability within individuals, families, and the community at large.
Through meticulous efforts, we aspire to diminish crime, poverty, and general suffering, while concurrently instilling a heightened sense of pride and love for home, family, and community. DIF operates without any political affiliations, providing financial assistance to the nation's social and economic infrastructure.
We have implemented three private stimulus programs: The Seed Grant Program, emphasizing the rebuilding of community infrastructure; our Emergency Grant Program, with a focus on community intervention; and our Prosperity Grant Program, dedicated to catalyzing entrepreneurs. All applicants for our grant programs are required to complete the appropriate application for meticulous record-keeping. Detailed projections for each program are outlined in our comprehensive business plans.
DIF's financial stability relies on nine income streams. The first, our Endowment Method, is sourced from reputable United States-financed Banking Institutions. The remaining eight independent income methods contribute to the organization's self-sufficiency, allowing for adaptive growth. STATEMENT OF NEED
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate surged to 14.7% in April 2020 due to the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, representing approximately 23.1 million unemployed individuals. This crisis has significantly affected families and communities, leading to long-term economic challenges and job losses that are reshaping the labor market.
The pandemic has exacerbated existing inequalities and vulnerabilities, with many individuals facing financial instability and the need to acquire new skills to adapt to a rapidly changing economic landscape. Additionally, the opioid epidemic and substance abuse issues have intensified during these challenging times, further straining communities and societal structures.
The breakdown of community support systems, including family structures, educational opportunities, and employment prospects, has had a detrimental impact on our inner-city youth and young adults. This crisis underscores the urgent need for comprehensive solutions to address the multifaceted challenges facing our communities.
At DIF, we are committed to developing innovative financial solutions to foster economic and educational empowerment in underserved communities. Our holistic approach aims to provide:
